West Cumbria Society for the Blind was established in 1990 with the aim of improving the lives of visually impaired people throughout West Cumbria.
To achieve this aim we:

Support visually impaired people to live independently

Provide a Resource & Information drop-in Centre

Support visually impaired people through our home support and telephone befriending services

Stock a wide range of specialist equipment and independent living aids

Provide advice and guidance to visually impaired people and to their families and carers
-
Organise social activities and provide support groups at several locations.
